To create uniform planting holes for flower bulbs of up to 6cm you need a bulb planter. Simply push the tool into the soil, twist and lift to remove the soil, plant the bulb in the hole and press the handle to release the soil back into the ground. The serrated edge of the planter helps you to insert it into the ground with ease.
